The position of coach in an elite hockey association is probably one of the most demanding volunteer positions today; with these people spending time at the arena every single day, preparing drills for practices, strategies for games, dealing with parents and players off-ice, organizing their assistant coaches, organizing their work and home lives around their team and yet still finding time to have fun with their teams.
