The New York Times headline was "Blood in the River" while the Times cover story quoted a missionary as saying, "There are no devils left in hell. They are all in Rwanda." It was beyond a horror movie. It is in the realm of martydom, during one of historys most brutual genocides (w million Tutsis slaughtered in just 3 months by Hutus). Immaculée Ilibagiza is a living example of faith put into action. Her life was transformed dramatically during the 1994 Rwanda genocide where she and 7 other women spent 91 days huddled silently together in the cramped bathroom of a local pastors house. Immaculée entered the bathroom a vibrant, 115-pound university student with a loving family - she emerged weighing just 65 pounds to find most of her family had been brutally murdered. Her story is now famous in the bestseller Left to Tell but the genocide had been prophesized years earlier by the Blessed Mother in 1981 in Kibeho. Immaculees newest bestseller is dedicated to sharing this story "Our Lady of Kibeho." http://www.immaculee.com
