Scott Greenberg is the owner of ComForcare Senior Services out of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. and a thought leader on aging issues. It was the impact of his fathers Alzheimers disease on his family that motivated Greenberg to get involved in the in-home care industry after a 20 year career in graphic design. He dove into the senior community head first and is actively involved in a number of Florida organizations which address the needs of the growing senior community. Recently, because of his active role on the Advisory Council to the Area Agency on Aging he was invited to participate in a town hall meeting with the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Katherine Sebelius. At the meeting, the impact of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) on the senior population was discussed with an intimate panel of Floridas leading "thought leaders" on aging issues. This kind of deep involvement has paid off for Greenberg, as despite the challenging economy, he has seen his business grow by 50 percent in the last year.
